History
T. & J. Fire founded in 1973 has just celebrated 31 years within the Fire
Protection Industry. In that time the Fire Industry has changed beyond
all recognition with many new standards and qualifications not to mention
European Legislation to adhere to. However, during this period T. & J. Fire have
remained at the forefront of the industry supporting some of the biggest
household names in the country as well as many of the smaller businesses
with exactly
the same level of care and expertise.
1987 saw T. & J. Fire expand to offer a full design, supply, and installation
service for fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. Many clients
now adopt our total protection one stop shop service, which encompasses
Extinguishers, Alarms, Signs and Training.
In 1991 T. & J. Fire became a registered member of the British Standards
Institute and in subsequent years have achieved accreditation in ISO 9001
2000, and QSP 94001-4 the newest Quality Management scheme introduced by
the BSI. Also in 1991 T. & J. Fire became a fully qualified member of
BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) the industry standard
organisation for the maintenance of portable Fire Extinguishing Equipment.
In August 2001 T. & J. Fire submitted its
Service Technicians for the newest industry standard, the BAFE Registered
Technicians Scheme, not only
did all Service Technicians pass but they did so a full 9 months before
this standard was required. To this day many BAFE registered companies
have failed to achieve this compulsory standard.
Since its inception in 1973 T. & J. Fire
has grown steadily, winning new business accounts as far as Birmingham
and Rugby and as far south as
Bodmin and we would be pleased to quote for your requirments.
